“Wi-SUN’s FAN 1.1 revision brings a comprehensive set of new features to enhance its already very serviceable on its existing FAN 1.0 Field Area Network (FAN) standard. Features such as the inclusion of OFDM operation modes at significantly higher data rate offer both greater through-put, if needed, and a more robust communications mode. The devices can negotiate which communications modes allows the device’s applications room to determine how to send data and receive data.
